This is a short film I made for my Sons of Adam study. I have 4 children and I’ve realised that the memories they treasure the most are the times when we have made things together.
It gives us both time to connect with each other and together we learn new skills and more about ourselves. It helps us capture the joy and excitement of creating something new and makes us appreciate the gift of the simple things in life that we sometimes forget when life is busy and less fun. This is a film that I made with my two youngest boys, Jack and George. George wanted to make a shield and a sword at the weekend. So we went to the local hardware shop to get all the parts that we needed and then we made it together. George has been playing with his sword ever since. We’re now thinking about our next project together.
